Al Hail Health Centre Masqat opens

Muscat, Nov 14 (ONA) Al Hail Health Centre of the Health Ministry was opened at the Wilayat A’Seeb today under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al Busaidi, Wali of A’Seeb. Present at the ceremony were honourable members of the State Council, members of Majlis A’Shura, Walis of Muscat Governorate, Health Ministry’s officials and invitees.

Sheikh al Busaidi stated that the health centre is an important addition to the health services provided by the Health Ministry. The centre will serve a lot of people in the Wilayat.

Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed al Ajamiyah, Director of the Health Services in the Wilayat of A’Seeb said that the centre includes vaccinations and pregnant women care clinics, male and female out-patient clinics, laboratory, X-ray room, pharmacy and medical records room. It also offers consultations on diet and health education.

She added that the centre which is the number 8 in the Wilayat, began to render medical services on March 14th. The 9th health centre will be opened next December at the Northern Al Hail. The construction activities at A’Seeb Polyclinic are ongoing and it’s expected to be opened next year, she furthered.
