Arthritis bitters sleeping pattern

Arthritis might prove a grave nightmare for many as patients feels depressed and uneasy combined with sleepless nights, as per the latest study.

Dr. Grant Louie of Johns Hopkins University Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland, claims that the people suffering from arthritis, the case of sleep issue becomes grave with a gradual increase with 23 percent, equaling to about
10 million Americans.

Meanwhile, for individual who do not have arthritis, sleep disturbances rate were only about 16 percent.

The study was performed at the National Institutes of Health. Louie and more developments have been made with respect to the association of arthritis and sleep issues.

In association with the study, they pondered over more than 23,134 adults’ health data, which was released at the 2007 National Health Interview Survey. It was found that participants were offered information on a wide range of subjects which comprised of alcohol consumption, weight, smoking, sleep and diet.

People who have arthritis suffered three times likely from having troubles in sleeping. Sleeping issues are linked with insomnia, or not being able to fall asleep, excessive sleep throughout the day and sleep that is less than six hours. It was further added that most of the conditions were linked with pain and joint mobility restrictions.
