More than 2,000 people are expected to undergo blood sugar tests tomorrow in a bid to break a Guinness World Record.
The campaign will be held from 6pm to 2am at a tent behind ‘Maatam Al Ajam Al Kabeer’ in Manama and aims to break the previous record of 800 people. Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa will patronise the event, marking the 40th day of Imam Hussein’s death anniversary.
It is spearheaded by Capital Society of Islamic Culture in co-operation with the Health Ministry, Bahrain Medical Society, BDF Hospital and a number of private hospitals.
