CDS implements eRAD’s ASP hosted teleradiology software solution

eRAD, a division of RadNet, Inc. (Nasdaq:RDNT), an industry leader in Web-based RIS, PACS and Teleradiology solutions, announced teleradiology service provider Century Digitec Services, Inc. (CDS) has gone live on eRAD’s ASP Hosted Teleradiology Software Platform.

CDS is owned by professionals from the radiology industry with significant experience with sizeable radiology groups. Its executive management team believed that CDS could better serve the needs of their clients by forming a group with committed radiologists, strong technology infrastructure, and a dedicated support team willing to go the extra mile to ensure superb customer satisfaction.

Anwer Rizvi, CDS Founder & Chairman, commented, “In today’s radiology environment, flexibility is essential to maintaining a competitive edge. That’s why the vast array of services available from Century Digitech include a complete range of reading and imaging IT services, which can help our customers adjust the level of service without having to make prohibitive up-front investments in human resources or endure the cost and hassles common in this field.

” Rizvi continued, “eRAD’s hosted Web-based teleradiology software solution was essential to being able to offer this level of service and customization and because many of our physicians and staff were very familiar with the power and flexibility of eRAD from having previously worked with their technology. It was simply the obvious choice for us.”

CDS will operate its business on eRAD’s hosted software platform located at its hardened data center in Greenville, SC. The platform is redundant, scalable, and offers “burstable” bandwidth.
