Dubai, Feb 25th, 2010 The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) held a seminar to focus on the importance of prevention and infection control in Dentistry.
Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Al Kalban, CEO of Primary Healthcare Sector, opened the seminar on behalf of His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director General of the DHA.
Dr. Kalban highlighted, during his opening speech held in the Rashid Medical Library, the importance of holding such scientific seminars and more importantly the need to further develop and strengthen the primary health care model across the Emirate of Dubai.
The seminar included international speakers who focussed on the importance of preventative measures and provided information on the latest techniques in the area of injection control.
Dr Tariq Khoori, Director of Dental Services at the DHA said that it is part of the DHA’s strategy to hold regular conferences and seminars to promote exchange of information and understand latest advances in the dental field.
