KSA – Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of General Contracting, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power), Rail, Oil and Gas, and Water and Wastewater Treatment, has announced that its subsidiary Drake & Scull Saudi Arabia has won an AED 189 million MEP contract for Al-Dara Hospital and Medical Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The contract will start immediately and be completed by January 2016.
Under the terms of the agreement, DSI will undertake complete installation, testing & commissioning, of critical MEP systems like HVAC, plumbing and firefighting system, water treatment plant, medical gases system, fuel system, building management system & electrical systems for the hospital. The 107-bed Al-Dara Hospital and Medical Center, located close to the prestigious King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, will be the city’s largest and technically advanced outpatient center spread over an area of 27,500 square meters. It comprises of a low rise building built on a gross floor area of 101,000 square meters, comprising an eastern wing of GF+6 Floors, a western wing of G+4 floors, and a two-storey basement. Carillion Saudi Arabia is the main contractor of this ambitious outpatient facility.
