Emergency surgery saves patient’s life

A patient’s life was saved on Tuesday in Dubai hospital thanks to an emergency operation.

The patient who was suffering from an aorta vein wall rupture went through an emergency procedure after suffering heart failure.

During the seven hour operation, the surgeons removed the ruptured part and substituted it with a Gore-Tex fabric tube.

The patient was sent to the intensive care unit for 24 hours. This type of surgery is considered one of the most precise and dangerous heart surgeries, due to the patient’s deteriorating condition.
