The UAE Ministry of Health will organize the First UAE Psychiatric Health Conference under the theme “Psychiatric Health: 2020 Visions” between 18-19 December in Dubai under the patronage of Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali Al Qassim, UAE Minister of Health.
The conference is expected to attract more than 200 psychiatric doctors and specialists in the primary healthcare sector. The conference will also host a number of international experts and advisors in the psychiatric health field. About 15 specialists from Britain, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, and UAE will deliver speeches in the conference.
Dr. Mahmoud Fikri, Assistant Undersecretary for Health Policies at the UAE Ministry of Health, stated that the conference comes in response to the ministry’s strategy and vision in maintaining a healthy environment for individuals and communities pointing out the ministry’s efforts in enhancing psychiatric health. The ministry also applied new initiatives to merge psychiatric health services through its primary healthcare centers. The conference also emphasizes the world health organization trends in developing primary healthcare and psychiatric health worldwide.
The Ministry of Health has opened registration for the First UAE Psychiatric Health Conference in Primary Health Care to all medical districts through the website https://mhphc.moh.gov.ae:819 on first come first served basis.
