High level US Radiology and Nuclear Medicine team due

A high level delegation formed from leading US Departments of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine, will visit Kuwait to conduct meetings with the Ministry of Health in response to the Ministry’s tender ‘Tele-Radiology, Radiology Management & Information Technology.’

Because of the urgent need to improve the radiology services in Kuwait, and the limited availability of subspecialist radiologists in the country, the Ministry of Health issued a tender to connect the Kuwaiti Radiology & Nuclear Medicine facilities with top international academic radiology department.

The ministry aim is to provide the highest possible continuing medical education and training of the Kuwaiti Radiologist in the field of Radiology & Nuclear Medicines, both of which continues to expand and innovate.
The Consortium led by WorldCare consists of five Radiology Departments

residing in the following US teaching medical institutions:

1) Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

2) Duke University Health System

3) Johns Hopkins Medicine

4) Brigham & Women’s Hospital.*

5) Massachusetts General Hospital.*

* These are the largest & oldest teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School.
Together, these institutions have over 600 American Board Certified Radiologists, all with academic titles from their respective medical schools.

The institutions’ collective annual research budget exceeds $3 billion, and they serve millions of patients yearly.
