Hospital training for 23 Bahrainis

NEW staff recruited at the Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH), including 23 Bahrainis, has undergone a nine-day training programme.

RBH chief operating officer Dr Ashish Banerji said training helped in carrying out organisational policies more effectively.

“It also helps develop leadership skills, motivation, loyalty, better attitude and other aspects that we intend RBH employees to display.”

A major part of the programme comprised software skills for staff to improve efficiency and minimise patient waiting time.

All participants were also trained to be reactive, handle diverse scenarios and keep their focus on patients and clients.

The official opening of the RBH will be announced soon and there are plans to hire 50 Bahrainis in the first phase, said officials.
