Long-life milk being sold in the local market would come under strict monitoring by the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) to ensure producers abide by the health regulations.
The Joint Committee for Food Monitoring at the SCH in its next meeting is expected to take up this issue. The meeting will examine a report prepared by a special committee that was assigned to study the shelf life of long
life milk.
