The Leadership Council is a development group of managers from the many different departments within Mafraq Hospital who gather to learn from their peers and keep each other informed of happenings and successes within the hospital.
The Top Performers are nominated and recognized by their peers from within the Leadership Council. Nominees are announced at each month’s Leadership Council and awarded a medal to mark their achievement.
Scott Morrow, Director, Materials Management and Darshak Shah, Senior Financial Analyst, are both members of the Leadership Council and received their medals in July. Scott was awarded for being continuously considerate and professional with both colleagues and customers and it was agreed that Scott has motivated others within his department resulting in an improvement in the team’s customer service.
Darshak received his nomination for demonstrating an ability to help non financial employees in Mafraq Hospital understand the ‘number side’ of the business and dealing with his work colleagues in a professional and informative way.
John Nickens, CEO Mafraq Hospital said: “We developed the Leadership Council to help our management team grow and learn from each other. The Top Performers Club was a natural progression as we wanted to be able to show our appreciation for the top performers within our group. When you recognize people effectively, you reinforce, with your chosen means of recognition, the actions and behaviors you most want to see people repeat. I am delighted with Scott and Darshak’s performances – they are truly ambassadors for Mafraq Hospital.”
Mafraq Hospital is owned and operated by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company PJSC (SEHA), which is responsible for all the curative activities of public hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi.
