MoH signs pact for dialysis unit

An agreement to fund the expansion and development project for the dialysis unit at the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah was signed at the Health Ministry yesterday at a cost of RO 260,000 funded by Raysut Cement Company.

The agreement was signed from the Health Ministry by Saif bin Ahmed al Rawahi, Health Ministry’s Under-Secretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs and from Raysut Cement Company by Mohammed bin Ahmed al Dheeb, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Al Rawahi pointed out that the value of the agreement does not only emanate from its financial cost, but also from the attention accorded by the company for the health development in the Sultanate particularly that the company has been seeking in a number of occasions to carry out similar initiatives to enhance health services in the Sultanate.
