Only experience doctors are going to be allowed to take part in robotic surgeries. That means that only the surgeons who have conducted surgeries at least 1,600 times are only going to be considered fit as experienced.
The step has been taken since it has been found that a lot of inexperienced surgeons at community hospitals began to appear. But researchers have already declared that critical operations like prostate cancer surgeries can be carried on by only experienced hands.
One must remember that it was Dr. Samadi, who based on his experience was able to develop a new surgery technique called SMART (Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique).
He is quite known in robotics and has done close to 3,200 robotic surgeries. Moreover, only a knowledgeable surgeon knows what delicate nerves have got as weak points and what are the sexual and urinary organs need to perform properly.
One of such surgeon said that they have to give in their 100 per cent so that the patient gets the most benefit. And for that they need to be sure on their own at first.
