The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has started a four-day course with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) based in UK.
It is being held for Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace for the staff of Occupational Health Section under the department of Public Health. This includes all health inspectors from the inspection unit and all nursing staff and doctors from the medical unit of the OHS.
This course is being offered by Doha Industrial Safety Services (DISS) in Arabic and English for the first time in Qatar. DISS has been accredited to CIEH for delivering their health and safety courses.
CIEH offers over 50 certification training programs in different areas of occupational and environmental health. It is a professional, awarding and campaigning body at the forefront of environmental and public health and safety.
