Emirates World Mobile Hospital steps up its programmes in Ramadan

Emirates World Mobile Hospital (Elaj) has decided to intensify its programmes at Moroccan, Egyptian and Bosnian villages during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The move follows the directives from HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of Ruler in Western Region, Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority.

The medical missions will be sent to a number of villages and areas in Maysor to conduct diagnosis and provide medicines. They stepped up efforts to provide treatment and medicines to 6500 patients, elderly and children, at the Moroccan villages.

Prof. Amin Al Husseini, director of Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rabat, stressed preparedness of the health institutions to effectively support the programmes of Emirates mobile hospital.

On his part, Chief Executive of the Zayed Giving Initiative, Executive Director of Emirates Mobile Hospital, Emirati Heart Surgeon Dr Adel Al Shamri commended the support of social and health institutions to the efforts of Emirates mobile hospital.
