Al-Hussein educational hospital’s director Dr.Saddam al-Tawil stated ” A delegation from Italian Mteka hospital located south of Nasiriya, visited al-Hussein Hospital to be acquainted with the structure and the formation of the hospital to twin it with a similar hospital in Italy,” noting that “An agreement over a joint cooperation was concluded to cover all aspects of medical education between al-Hussein Hospital and the Italian hospital.”
He revealed “The director of the Italian hospital will visit al-Hussein Hospital and announce an initial agreement between the two parties to send Iraqi medical staff to Italy to increase the experience where one of the Italian universities undertook to grant all the expenses of sending the staff on two courses, first, short training for cadres that have high educational degrees and the second long-term training for other staffs.”
