The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) discussed ways to further foster their relationship with regard to application systems that the HMFP has developed for the DHA
The DHA high-level delegation headed by His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director General of the DHA, met with HMFP delegates in Boston, USA, on the 20th of October, 2009 to discuss ways to broaden the scope of work between the two organisations.
Currently, the two applications that the HMFP has provided the DHA are the clinical computing system for diabetes and the accreditation system for the credentialing and licensing department, DHA health regulation.
His Excellency Al Murooshid said, “The DHA met with the HMFP to review the outcome of the two applications that we are using. The DHA always strives to ensure that we are up-to-date with the latest technologies and healthcare application systems available and therefore we would like to discuss ways to further enhance our relationship with the HMFP.”
“Both the systems that we are currently using are vital as they pertain to diabetes and developed accreditation systems,” he added.
The high-level delegation from the DHA that was in Boston to facilitate this cooperation with the HMFP included Khalid Ahmed Al Sheikh Mubarak, CEO Shared Services Support, Dr Essa Kazim, CEO, Health Policy and Strategy Sector , Mr Ali Mohamad Ebrahim Al Ali, IT Director and Mr Tony Batour Elzoghbi, Director of Governance and Internal Audit Department.
The delegation from the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians included Dr. Stuart Rosenberg, CEO, Dr. Antoine Kaldany, Dr. Mark Zeidel, Chair of Medicine, Dr. Chalres Safran and Dr. Shane Reti from the Division of Clinical Informatics.
