Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group announced 150 million dollar, first Specialized Private Cardiac Center

Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group announced that it has signed an agreement with “Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems Co.”  in Dubai, under the auspices and presence of H.R.H Prince Mohamed Bin Khalid Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, president and C.E.O. of Al-Faisaliah Holding Group, to equip the largest Cardiac Center in the private sector in KSA. Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital in Hay El Rahmaniah- specialization street- with a cost exceeding 150 million dollars, with capacity of 150 beds. It will be a specialized hospital to comprise the largest Cardiac Center in the private sector. It is anticipated to complete the project at the end of the current year. This Hospital is designed according to the highest international standards and it comprise modern emergency rooms equipped to treat all cases of cardiac diseases, blood vessels and heart surgery for adults and pediatric, including diagnosis, interventions and surgeries. The Hospital will contract with the elite of the most important specialized consultants in the Cardiac Care field to work at the center.

The Group chose Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems Co. which is a subsidiary of Al-Faisaliah Holding Group to contribute in the implementation of the project through CardioSpace® program which aims to set programs for developing and enhancing cardiac centers in consistency and conformity with the scientific progress, to raise the performance in order to serve the community and its members and achieve an advanced healthcare policy in the field of medicine and cardiology, in consistence with the international standards and inconvenience with the local environment.

Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems enjoys high expertise in equipping Cardiac Centers extended over thirty eight years through which they participated in the development and equipment of seventeen Cardiac Centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Habib added that the group is trying to provide integrated medical services, where the implementation of this hospital comes within an expansion plan through which we pursue to find an integrated medical service in our dear Nation to match the renaissance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing in light of the Government of the Server of the Two Holy Mosques, and praise is to Allah we managed to open Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital in Qassim with a capacity of 150 beds to serve the regions of Qassim and Hail, and praise is to Allah the hospital render services hoping it will be at the good expectations of our families in the region.

Also grace is to Allah, a month from now, we shall open Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital in eastern Riyadh with a capacity of 244 beds where it is designed according to the highest international standards and aims to provide unique health care to the people and inhabitants of eastern Riyadh.

We will also witness during the month of March of this year, the opening of the bone and spinal cord hospital which is the first of its kind in the private medical sector in the Kingdom. The said hospital will be equipped particularly for various types of orthopedics and spinal cords surgeries such as injuries and various kinds of fractures, spine surgeries, perspectives, change and replacement of joints, bone tumors.

Regarding the implementation of the agreement with “Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems”, Dr. Sulaiman stated that “we consider that Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems will be a fundamental strategic partner to us in equipping the Cardiac Centers through the company’s long experience with the most important and famous global companies operating in this field and through a professional qualified working team at the company.”

On the other hand, the Executive General Manager of Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems said “the agreement with Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group is considered a strategic agreement for Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems Company through which we aim to equip the largest Cardiac Center in the private sector. He added “The center will be equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technologies in this field and will gather equipment from leading companies represented by Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems. This project will be executed on three phases. First, to equip the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory which will include the supply of Catheterization System from Philips; these are known as the first and latest systems of their kind in the private medical sector. Second, equip the Critical Care Units. Third, equip the surgical operating rooms in which major surgeries will take place such as Open-Heart surgeries.

He added, Al-Faisaliah Medical System Company is proud to be a part in implementing this vital and fundamental project which will render to the people of Riyadh distinct services known as the latest and first of their kind in the area of Cardiac Care and surgeries, especially that Al-Faisaliah Medical Systems Company have equipped 90% of the Cardiac Centers in the Kingdom, and we are confident that our common efforts to equip and implement this project will benefit all concerned parties and contribute to the development of medical care services in the region as a whole
