Emaar Healthcare Group, a subsidiary of Emaar Properties, has started a recruitment drive to hire 200 staff for its flagship project, The Dubai Mall Medical Centre.
The new recruits will also work in Emaar Healthcare’s clinics in the Meadows and Arabian Ranches communities which are due to open later this year, the company said on Monday.
Emaar Healthcare has partnered with Methodist International (MI), the international arm of US-based premier healthcare provider The Methodist Hospital, to deliver the facilities, it added.
Omar Al Shunnar, CEO, Emaar Healthcare Group, said that the current recruitment drive signalled the commitment of the company to partner in the social and economic growth of Dubai.
“Healthcare has been one of the pillars of the strong community welfare standards of the UAE, and we are not only bringing in world-class medical expertise but also creating new jobs, which will further strengthen market confidence.”
He said The Dubai Mall Medical Centre, which is due to open later this year, will be the largest out-patient centre in the region.
Lynn Schroth, CEO, Methodist International added: “We are working closely with Emaar Healthcare to bring international best practices to the region and deliver world-class healthcare through the upcoming medical centre and clinics.”
