Minister of Health Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali honored Um Al Qaiwain Medical District for winning the best medical district in the Best Government Office category in Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award.
HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai had attended the UAE Government Performance Excellence Award Ceremony held at the Emirates Palace on 22nd November 2010.
Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award was approved by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to be the first government excellence program in the federal government as part of his highness’ vision in making the UAE government one of the best governments worldwide.
The winning of the award by Umm Al Qaiwain medical district is a major accomplishment to the Ministry of Health which proved its commitment to the standards set by the award. The program aims for developing the performance of federal ministries and authorities through stringent assessment tools and evaluation standards.
