Huawei presented its range of enterprise-level e-health solutions at the 2nd Annual Kingdom Healthcare Expansion Summit 2010 titled “Striving Toward a Market-Driven Healthcare System” here on Sunday.
The two-day event at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Jeddah, which opened on Sunday, hosted by Naseba (2nd Annual Kingdom Healthcare Expansion Summit) with the support of Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah.
Huawei is demonstrating its advanced e-health solution and remote health management, which offer solutions that streamline healthcare services in the Kingdom. Exhibition delegates will also experience Huawei’s wide range of ICT network infrastructure and applications for the vertical market sectors.
Huawei’s end-to-end solutions offer a varied range of e-health solutions architecture to meet the diversified demands of the region’s growing healthcare industry and accommodate large quantities of data collection, transmission and processing requirements.

This initial venture into the Kingdom was for provision of the highest switching capacity of digital telephone switches to Aramco. Huawei has since cooperated with Aramco to provide a variety of ICT based solutions that include MSAN, Datacom, IP PBX & IP Phones etc.
Huawei is a key vendor to the Kingdom’s major operators including Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Ettihad Etisalat (Mobily) and Zain, and is currently working with a number of enterprise and government entities in the provision of end-to-end ICT solutions.
