The medical market in the Kingdom is expected to record an annual growth of 5.66 percent, achieving an increase from $2.65 billion in 2008 to $3.49 billion in 2013.
The Saudi Medical Care Exhibition 2011, which will take place soon, will bring together pioneers of the healthcare sector, investors, importers and specialists to discuss market opportunities and investment possibilities.
It is being organized by Riyadh Exhibition Company Limited and sponsored by the Ministry of Health. The exhibition coincides with the Saudi Ophthalmology Exhibition 2011, the Saudi Dentistry Exhibition 2011 and the Saudi Laboratory Exhibition 2011.
Muhammad Al-Husseini, Deputy Director General of the Riyadh Exhibition Company, said the Kingdom’s market will provide promising returns for investors.
The government has made large investment in the sector to improve healthcare services for citizens and residents, which has increased the demand for medication, medical equipment and other relevant services in the Kingdom.
Countries expected to participate at the exhibition include Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and China.
