The Riyadh Medical Complex has been renamed the King Saud bin Abdulaziz Medical Complex. Riyadh Governor Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz announced the name change while opening a new medical tower at the facility yesterday.
The new tower, the first in Riyadh, comprises administrative, academic and medical wings. The medical wing has 368 beds and a large 100-bed intensive care unit. The academic wing has a 500-seat auditorium and is equipped with a state-of-the-art medical library located adjacent to a multi-purpose conference hall where training programs will be conducted.
